The CSFA Dance Troupe continues to perform around the Twin Cities. It was not as hectic as the previous year; nevertheless, it was a busy and rewarding year. Even with the dwindling number of dancers that we have, we managed to present a variety of Philippine folk dances.

In addition to our performances, we also have some exciting news to share regarding some of our dancers. Yenyen and David McSherry had their baby girl, Isabella, and we're all awaiting Therese and Wayne Peterson's turn to have their baby. Other two dancers have different news. They're getting married! Tonette Fugen has set her wedding to Tom Burkhardt in November while Tria Pascual is going home to the Philippines for her wedding to Mandy Reyes in December. On a sad note, Tria will be missed by the CSFA Dance Troupe when she moves to Chicago.

There were some instances when we had to turn down invitations for a number of reasons, namely: there wasn't enough notice that was given in consideration to rehearsals and preparation before the performance or the date of the event is in conflict with the schedule of a majority of the dancers. The CSFA Dance Troupe would require at least 2 weeks notice before the event takes place. The CSFA Dance Troupe is a group of dancers specializing in Philippine folk dances. All members of the dance troupe are volunteers.
